Born in 1981, Léa Fehner begins her studies at La Femis in the screenwriting department. She writes there the screenplay for Silent Voices, and thus obtains her diploma in 2006. It’s this first script which she chooses to direct in 2008. Her film proves an enormous success at numerous festivals, including Venice and the Deauville American Film Festival, and is crowned with the Louis Delluc Award for Best First Film in 2009.
