Through the lens

Building community around film

Here at Rocky Mountain Women’s Film we elevate the stories of women and others who are often unheard or unseen, cultivating a more empathetic and connected community.

Membership

As a film fan, we are inviting you to become a member of Circle of Support.

Thirty years ago a group of women created the original Circle of Support, providing the financial foundation for our cornerstone event, the Rocky Mountain Women’s Film Festival. Since that time, we have grown to be more than a film festival, hosting exciting events and screenings throughout the year. Funding from the Circle of Support allows Rocky Mountain Women’s Film to provide year-round programming.

November 13-21, 2020

Rocky Mountain Women’s Film Festival

The 33rd Annual Rocky Mountain Women’s Film Festival is ON – virtually! COVID may be preventing us from gathering in person, but it will not stop us from sharing films with you this coming November. Admittedly, hosting an online festival has never been a dream of ours; however, the more we delve into this new format the more excited we become with the opportunities it presents. It’s certainly going to look a little different than what we are used to, but isn’t that what this year is all about? Keep your eyes open for more information in the coming weeks about purchasing passes, tickets, setting up your home theater and more.

Film Festival

More than a Festival

Rocky Mountain Women’s Film has provided more than twenty events this year ranging from free office screenings, outdoor film, award-winning shorts, and exclusive events with filmmakers.

Each year we strive to share stories through film that compel, entertain, touch, inspire, and provoke us to become a more empathetic and connected community. Check out our year-round programming, featured events, and special pop-up events happening each month.

Every month Rocky Mountain Women’s Film hosts a screening in our office to share a film or films from our vast library with both new fans and seasoned cinefiles.

We highlight a feature-length film or a collection of short films from a previous Festival pulling from the Madelyn Osur Film Library. These screenings are free and open to the public. (Seating is limited, so plan to reserve your space in advance!)
