Each month we present a film from a past Festival on the screen at Rocky Mountain Women’s Film office inside the Lincoln School. These screenings are free and open to the public with a suggested donation of $5. BYOB and a snack or simply show up for an inspirational evening!
Heaven is a Traffic Jam on the 405
Heaven Is a Traffic Jam on the 405 (2016) is an Oscar-winning documentary short directed by Frank Stiefel that profiles Mindy Alper, a 56-year-old artist battling lifelong depression, anxiety, and trauma. Through candid interviews, the film explores how Alper uses art, particularly drawings and papier-mâché sculptures, to communicate and find joy amidst intense mental health struggles. [40 min.]

Ballet After Dark
Ballet After Dark tells the story a young woman who found the strength to survive after an attack. She created an organization that is helping sexual abuse and domestic violent survivors find healing after trauma through dance therapy. [30 min.]
Doors open at 6pm, Film begins at 6:30pm.
