Livestreams with GrandmaPuzzles

Puzzling has been a big part of Adele’s life. It’s connected her with family and been an outlet during hard times. Now in her golden years and struggling with loneliness, she finds herself streaming jigsaw puzzles via Twitch. These strangers soon become friends, and she finds herself at the center of a growing community.

Filmmaker Notes:

Lately I’ve been feeling the weight of world whenever I go online, and I’ve been craving the flip side of the coin – uplifting stories where the internet isn’t a place to doom scroll but a place where people can find something positive.

Enter the jigsaw puzzle community – one that exploded online during the pandemic and helped bring folks together through speed puzzling and other events. As I continued to develop a feature around this amazing group of people, I was introduced to Adele – known as Grandma Puzzles in her corner of the internet.

I immediately fell in love with her spirit and story, and I hope audiences will too.
