Ondi Timoner is the only filmmaker to win Sundance’s Grand Jury Prize twice—for DIG! and We Live in Public, both in MoMA’s permanent collection. Her 2022 film Last Flight Home, about her father’s end-of-life journey, was Oscar-shortlisted, Emmy-nominated, and awarded the Humanitas Prize. In 2024, she premiered three films, DIG! XX, THE INN BETWEEN and ALL GOD’S CHILDREN. In 2025, she debuted ALL THE WALLS CAME DOWN, at the Telluride Film Festival, about the LA fires that destroyed her hometown. Timoner founded Interloper Films and is a member of the Academy and chairs a DGA committee for nonfiction filmmakers.
