STIG BJÖRKMAN (director and writer) as a documentary director, Björkman is best internationally known for
Ingrid Bergman In Her Own Words (2015) which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival where it received the
Golden Eye Special Mention. He is also known for his films on Ingmar Bergman Film is My Mistress (2010)
and Images from the Playground (2009). In addition, Björkman has directed 7 feature length fiction films
including Georgia, Georgia (1972) with screenplay by Maya Angelou and starring Diana Sands.
