Partners Kai Collins and Deena Adar met in an improv class at The Groundlings in LA in 2007 and felt an immediate affinity for one another’s comedic point of view. Their web series, Cannabis Moms Club, premiered on Elizabeth Banks’ comedy platform WhoHaHa in August as its first exclusive distribution deal. Since then, it’s already been lauded by NPR as one of “The Best Web Series on the Internet”. Vanity Fair compared its “hilarious”, “insular, stylized absurdity” to an Elaine May monologue. Their award-winning company Quiet Duke Productions has written and directed ads for Warner Brothers, Kraft Foods, and TMZ.
