Festival in the Community: Peterson AFB

The Rocky Mountain Women’s Film Festival is proud to expand our film screenings through Festival in the Community, where we host FREE screenings of select films in advance of the Festival. It’s a chance to sneak a peek before the Festival, plus a great opportunity to introduce your friends to the wonderful and thought-provoking films Rocky Mountain Women’s Film brings to the Pikes Peak region.

All seating for Film and Festival in the Community events are first come, first served. Please let us know you are coming, so we can plan for this event. There is no need to print or bring your ticket with you to the event. Just arrive 15 minutes before the screening to secure your seat.

Let Us Know You’re Coming!
NOTE: Accessibly for any Military/DoD ID cardholders and their guests.

SCATTERING CJ
Directed by Andrea Kalin

How do you best celebrate the life of a loved one? Hallie Twomey lost her son CJ to suicide. After years of grief, she was compelled to undertake one last maternal act. Something that commemorated the way he lived, not how his life ended. Hallie put a call out on social media, asking for help in honoring CJ’s love of travel by scattering his ashes in amazing places he might have visited had he lived. 21,000 people answered Hallie’s call. It became a worldwide phenomenon. (63 min)
