Her credits include “Born in Synanon” for Paramount, “Eyes on the Prize” for HBO, and “Lowndes County and the Road to Black Power,” nominated for the 2022 Critics Choice Award. She directed “Black and Missing,” winning a 2022 NAACP Award, and “Apart,” which won a 2022 Emmy. Her short film “Call Center Blues” was shortlisted for the 2021 Oscars. Additional credits include “Why We Hate,” “I Am Evidence,” and “Armed with Faith,” which won a 2019 News and Documentary Emmy.
