She directed “Black and Missing,” winning a 2022 NAACP Award, and “Apart,” which won a 2022 Emmy. Her short film “Call Center Blues” was shortlisted for the 2021 Oscars. Additional credits include “Why We Hate,” “I Am Evidence,” and “Armed with Faith,” which won a 2019 News and Documentary Emmy.
