Justyn Ah Chong (Writer, Producer) is an Emmy-award winning Native Hawaiian filmmaker from Mililani, Oʻahu, and a graduate of USC’s School of Cinematic Arts. From 2011 to 2018, he worked as a cinematographer and editor at the ʻŌiwi Television Network. His directorial debut, the short film Down on the Sidewalk in Waikiki, won several awards and screened globally. Justyn produced award-winning shorts Hawaiian Soul and E Mālama Pono Willy Boy, and directed the Emmy-winning documentary Pili Ka Moʻo. Currently, he is developing several projects and serves as Media Content Director for the Polynesian Voyaging Society, while also producing films through Olonā Media.
