Sharron Bates has worked as a videographer for over Sixteen years. In 1999 she travelled by herself to Kosovo to document how the Canadian Police were helping to restore order after the war. In 2004, she traveled to Malta and Sicily where she documented the journey of Canadian photographer, David Trattles.
Sharron has also travelled to Mexico, Curacao, Miami, London and Brighton as the principle camera operator for a 10 part travel series that focuses on festivals and cultural diversity around the world.
Her technical knowledge, her love for travelling, her desire to tell good stories, and her interest in creating a better world led her to the Story of Caf? Femenino. This project has been a wonderful journey and a labour of love, and she hopes that many people will see this film and be inspired by it.
