My Indiana Muse

Through an unconventional sequence of events, artist Robert Townsend discovers his kodachrome muse and embarks on an ambitious and inspirational project that will take more than a decade to complete.

The Girl and the Picture

The Girl and The Picture brings together two direct descendants of this history as Madam Xia, at 88, shares her memory with her granddaughter, her seven-year-old great grandson and with Chris Magee, the grandson of the missionary who captured her image eight decades earlier. The Girl and The Picture brings to light the power of memory to bridge generations and create a shared legacy of family, loss and survival.

Library Policy

Films are available to borrow for all local residents of the Pikes Peak Region. Up to THREE FILMS (3) may be checked out at one time for up to TEN (10) DAYS. 

These DVDs are the property of Rocky Mountain Women’s Film. Use is authorized for private home screenings only. Reproduction or public showings of these films, in whole or in part, are strictly prohibited. If you are interested in showing a film to a larger audience, please contact RMWF to make arrangements with the appropriate distributor and/or filmmaker.
