Cinema for the whole family

Rocky Mountain Women’s Film is celebrating our 35th year with a number of events throughout the month of August. Join us on Saturday, August 27th on the lawn behind the Rocky Mountain Women’s Film offices at Lincoln Center for Rascal Cinema where we will be screening a selection of family-friendly short films – some silly, some thoughtful and some curious. But first, starting at 6pm, kids will enjoy open-gym time courtesy of Flipshack, then decorate their bikes and head off for a pre-film ride with Kids on Bikes. Don’t forget a picnic to enjoy on the lawn, and your bike and helmet for the ride. Film program will begin at 8pm.

hot dogs

There's nothing better than a classic hot dog for a party on the lawn. Come hungry and grab simple but classic dinner for the family from Page's Catering. Hot dog (or brat), chips and a drink for just $5. Dessert is on us: RMWF will provide the popcorn and a special sweet treat to celebrate our 35th birthday.

flipshack

Starting at 6pm, Flipshack at Lincoln Center opens for kids to jump and get their wiggles out. Kids, don't forget to bring your parent or guardian along to sign the required waiver.

Kids on Bikes will join the pre-film fun to host bike decorating and lead a family-friendly 3 mile ride, out and back from Lincoln Center, leaving around 6:45pm. Don't forget to bring your parent, your bike and your helmet to join the fun!
