This is Everything: Gigi Gorgeous

This is Everything: Gigi Gorgeous is a story about becoming who you are meant to be. It was such a joy to get to know Gigi and her family, to explore the treasure trove of YouTube videos she’s posted on her channel, and to see her transformation before our eyes. Gigi’s life may seem like an open book, but in this film we see the dramatic journey that Gigi and her family have been through together.

Gigi’s YouTube and GoPro footage became the spine of this story, giving us a unique view into her transition from Gregory Allan Lazzarato to Gigi Gorgeous. What emerges is an opportunity for audiences to see what one woman goes through to be comfortable in her own skin.
The stories of many transgender youth are filled with struggle, pain and peril. In Gigi’s story we see that when families support their loved ones, it changes the whole dynamic of the journey. You don’t feel alone anymore. You feel like you can live the life you want to live.

Being a good parent, sibling or friend doesn’t mean you have to understand everything someone is going through. But it means being there and supporting them on their journey, and doing what you can to help them bloom. That’s the heart of Gigi’s beautiful, inspiring story. I hope that this film is an inspiration to young people, people who are exploring their gender identity, and beyond that everyone who is becoming who they truly are and living the life
they were meant to live.
